Background

Lekane founders are Aarne Ylä-Rotiala, Petri Pellinen and Timo Ahokas.
The idea for mobile contact centers started as a project at Nokia, where Aarne and Petri developed the market understanding and contacts. Nokia decided not to pursue the opportunity, so after clearing IPR in summer 2006, Aarne and Petri formed Lekane and were joined by Timo.

Aarne Ylä-Rotiala has 10+ years of experience in building businesses in mobile and communication technologies at Nokia. Mr Ylä-Rotiala serves as the CEO of Lekane.

Petri Pellinen has 10+ years of experience in Software and IT sales from Sun Microsystems and BEA Systems. Mr Pellinen serves as the CTO of Lekane

Timo Ahokas has significant experience from BEA Systems and VoxSurf in sales, product development and architecture. Mr Ahokas serves as Director of Research & Development at Lekane.
